The English Angora is the smallest member of the angora family with an average weight being between 5 and 7lbs. Angora's in full show coat are just breathtaking to see. Alot of work goes into maintaining these coats. To own an angora is one of the greatest joys. They are like little minature puppies that love to play and don't mind being fussed over sometimes for hours. I only maintain a small herd and carefully breed to improve my herd. My goals right now are angoras that possess good wool quality first and foremost, followed by round solid cobby buddies. I'm also looking to improve on face furnishings and nicely shapped heads. I know a big list but I hope to reach my goals with the outstanding angora breeders that have already met their goals and have made it possible for others to obtain what they have already established. Thanks to all the breeders who continually strive to perfect such a wonderful amazing breed! |
